Dagupan Milkfish
(bangus) is labeled as the best bangus in the whole country-if not in the whole
world.
The authentic Dagupan bangus is fed from
naturally-grown aquatic plants or “lablab”. The water that comes from the
fishponds of Dagupan is also a contributing factor to the outstanding taste of
the fish. The Dagupan river is classified as brackish, which is a combination
of fresh and salty water.
Another reason that it stands out from its cousins is
due to its physical characteristics. They have a small mouth, round head, and a
shorter lower fin and a protruding semi-round tummy that is fat but firm.
The products we offer are produced and processed in a state of the art seafood processing plant of BFAR in Dagupan City to ensure that it is export quality.
